30/12/2007 My first boat trip out fishing. No "legal" fish to talk about but Aubrey [skipper] did manage to lose his anchor,

his diving knife and snap his new $400 soft bait rod. He has a Haines 5.2m which was good fun. Went out to TeriTeri Islands

then half way to Little Barrier. The structure's in photo are in the middle of the ocean where a pinnacle has pushed through

the ocean.

19/08/2007 The limo was for the girls, not the adults! Our day out at the Waiwera hot pools. The pool you see was around 32deg

and had a massive screen for the kids to watch Disney channel and movies. Four other hot pools, 2 inside & 2 outside, plus lots of

slides and tubes for kids. Waiwera about 10min outside Orewa.
